Firebirds to Host Ontario Reign in $10 Preseason Game

PALM DESERT, CA (KESQ) - The Coachella Valley Firebirds will host the Ontario Reign in a preseason matchup on Sunday, September 27, at 5 p.m. PT at Acrisure Arena.

Tickets for the exhibition game will be just $10, with all proceeds benefiting the One Valley Foundation, the charitable arm of the Firebirds and Acrisure Arena. Parking will also be available for $10.

The preseason game will give fans their first chance to see the Firebirds on home ice ahead of their milestone fifth season. The team will face the Reign again just five days later when the regular season officially opens on Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m.

The One Valley Foundation supports Coachella Valley organizations and programs focused on education, community and well-being. Since its founding, the foundation has invested more than $1.9 million in local initiatives.

Season Ticket Members will receive complimentary admission to the preseason game. Single-game tickets for the 2026-27 season are also now on sale.
