Local playoff teams set after final week of the high school football regular season
The final week of high school football's regular season was a wild one thanks to a tight playoff race.
15 local teams and only 6 clinch the postseason.

Rancho Mirage clinched the DEL Championship last week after their win over La Quina, snapping Palm Desert's streak of six straight DEL titles.
And on Friday night, they also capped off a perfect season in the DEL, but Xavier Prep didn't make it easy. The Saints were fighting for their playoff hopes, but despite the loss, they managed to make it through

Meanwhile, in the DVL, Yucca Valley won the DVL Championship, capped off a perfect league season, and brought home the Bell after an absolutely dominating performance over Twentynine Palms.
