Firebirds beat Barracuda 5-4 behind Logan Morrison’s big night

The Firebirds hit the road for the first time since January and came away victorious on Wednesday night, defeating the San Jose Barracuda 5-4.

Logan Morrison was the star of the game, recording four points (two goals, two assists) to help the Firebirds earn their 30th win of the season.

Chris Driedger made 29 saves in net.

Coachella Valley improves to 30-13-4-2 on the season and extends their lead in the Pacific Division (66 points).

Next up is the rival Reign on Friday at Toyota Arena in Ontario. Puck drop is scheduled for 7pm.
