Winds Diminishing, Brief Warm-Up
High pressure will continue to keep skies sunny, and the offshore winds are slowly settling down after clocking gusts around the 40mph mark here in the Valley Wednesday. A High Wind Warning remains in effect until Noon Friday for the mountains of Riverside and San Bernardino counties, and the Inland Empire.
With calmer winds here in the Valley, highs will be pleasant and above normal through the weekend. We're aiming at mid-to-upper-seventies today.
In the weekend, we'll broach the eighty degree mark, but only briefly before a significant cooling trend takes us into the sixties for much of next week.
