More Triple Digits Yet to Come…

Yesterday's crippling 110 bested a decades old record of 107. Today, we'll be slightly cooler, but not much. The Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9 p.m. and then we'll some more significant cooling into next week.

Winds will become breezy this afternoon and evening as high pressure weakens, and a trough develops into the Pacific NW.

The Marine Layer along the Coast will also make a return, which will provide cooler temperatures from Sunday into the middle of next week, getting highs back to more seasonal levels.

After spending much of the last two weeks 15-20 degrees above normal, we'll see more May-like daytime highs through much of next week, including a couple of days in the eighties!
