Midweek warming, with cooler temps to end the week.

A broad ridge of high pressure continues to dominate the weather scenario, with highs again climbing into the upper 80s this afternoon.

That ridge will produce above-average temps through tomorrow, with a little correction in temps by the weekend.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until tomorrow at Noon for areas West of the Coachella Valley.

Gusts here are expected to top out near 20 m.p.h.

We see some partly cloudy skies both Thursday and Friday with cooler temps as well. By Tuesday of next week, sharply cooler--highs near normal (73) and a chance of showers.
