Feeling hot, hot, hot!

Palm Springs hit 105° today! That makes it the hottest day of 2020 so far and the triple digits aren't going away just yet.

We're about 15° above seasonal average, which is why an Excessive Heat Warning is in place for the Coachella Valley. That warning has been extended through 9 p.m. on Thursday with temperatures up to 105° possible.

An Excessive Heat Watch goes into effect for the high desert from Tuesday morning through Thursday evening. Temperatures up to 103° are possible. With excessive heat, there is also a chance for heat illness, so make sure to stay cool and hydrated.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Monday, 100° even. But the very next day, Tuesday, looks to be the hottest day of the upcoming week.

Temperatures will cool back down into the 90s for next weekend!
