The Heatwave Continues…

After a bout of gusty winds last night, we'll be cooler than the 105 we clocked yesterday, but triple digits are still the main ingredient in the forecast all the way through the week ahead. An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9 AM Thursday.

High pressure will build back in today, keeping highs well above our seasonal average of 88.

You can expect to see temps hit the century mark around 3 this afternoon, and linger there for a bit.

There is some modest cooling expected as we move into next weekend, when highs will drop into the lower and middle nineties--not a lot of relief, but every degree counts.
