Wind Advisory continues until midnight

Our First Alert Weather Alert remains active for today. Gusty winds are just one component of a late-season storm that's brought light precipitation to parts of the Southland. Idyllwild picked up 0.15" of rain while Beaumont recorded 0.31".

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. The advisory will remain in effect until midnight as gusty conditions may reduce visibility on the roadways.

Here's a look at some of the strongest gusts recorded around the desert on Monday:

High temperatures will be unseasonably cool through Tuesday with isolated showers across the desert possible.

A rapid warm-up takes us to triple digits by Thursday, with some of the hottest days of the year so far!
