Record-breaking heat

Palm Springs set a new record high temperature on Saturday.

The heat sticks around all weekend with a ridge of high pressure in place.

Parts of Southern California are under heat advisories through Monday night.

Temperatures start to cool mid-week and will be closer to seasonal, below 110°, by next weekend.
