Sunny and slightly warmer this weekend
Clear and dry conditions can be expected this weekend as the low-pressure system that drenched Southern California continues to move east.
A weak ridge of high-pressure will reinforce these drier conditions and bring slightly warmer temperatures to the valley this weekend.
While temperatures will remain below average for this time of year, the high-pressure system will raise temperatures by 5°. Overnight temperatures will remain chilly as overnight lows dip into the low to mid 40s.
Due to these cooler overnight temperatures, a Frost Advisory will remain in effect for the Inland Empire until 8:00 a.m. today. While this advisory does not extend to the Coachella Valley, lower-lying portions of golf courses may see some frost development this morning.
Another low-pressure system is set to arrive by Monday. Conditions stay dry but temperatures will drop into the lower 60s and winds will shift to a northerly flow. Daytime highs will rise back into the mid-60s by the middle of the week.
