Gradual warming trend into the weekend

A ridge of high pressure is building in across the Western U.S. that will keep us clear, calm and gradually warmer over the next few days.

North of the I-1o freeway, and into the Inland Empire a Wind Advisory is in effect until Noon today thanks to some gusty winds in the 35-40 m.p.h. range.

The colder air mass is moving slowly northeast, allowing modestly warmer air to move into the region.

High temperatures today will reach the upper 60s, only slightly below average (72) for the date.

Over the weekend, our highs will be at or slightly above that seasonal average, so expect a mild pleasant stretch of days!
