Thunderstorms more likely later today

Humidity continues to increase as we head toward the weekend as an area of low pressure funnels monsoon moisture in our direction.

Overnight, models indicate the potential for some significant storms throughout the region. Storms to the Southeast of the Valley could result in sandy and dusty conditions overnight.

The humidity lingers across the Western U.S. through the weekend.

We see some drying and cooling into next week.
