A hot weekend ahead

While the dew points are lower, the temps are heating up for the weekend. An Excessive Heat Warning is in place from Saturday at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday for the entire region.

Broad high pressure is spreading excessive heat across mush of the Southern U.S.

In these hot conditions please remember to take appropriate precautions to protect from heat related issues and illness.

By the middle of next week highs will drop back below the 110 mark, bringing us back to near-average conditions.
