Warmer than normal for the weekend

A little late-season heatwave is upon us and highs will jump back into the triple digits today and through most of the weekend before we see those numbers come back down a bit next week.

The higher than normal temps have prompted a Heat Advisory for many areas West of the Coachella Valley.

Yesterday we topped out at 100 degrees, and will likely see very similar numbers this afternoon.

Next week, after this brief bout of triple digits, breezy conditions will drop highs back into the middle 90s, where they normally are this time of year.
