Starting the work-week on a cool note

Highs will only span the lower 70s this afternoon, running a degree or two below our seasonal norms through most of the week.

Modest offshore winds continue into this afternoon and gradually relax into tomorrow, with a trough well off the coast that will impact SoCal later in the week.

Cooler than normal temps will linger through the entire week. In fact, we'll see even cooler numbers by week's end.

By late Thursday there's a small chance of showers developing overnight and into Friday, but the chance is minimal as is the potential for measurable precipitation. We'll continue to track that system as it moves closer throughout the week.
