Coachella Valley Feeling More like Early Spring to Wrap Up January

Warm and quiet weather will settle into the Coachella Valley for the remainder of January and into the start of February.

A fantastic VillageFest evening with mostly clear skies, mild evening temps and overnight lows staying just above seasonal norms (after a colder start earlier this week).

Our nice warming trend continues through at least Sunday as high pressure strengthens, keeping daytime highs well into the low 80s, about 10 degrees above average. Looking and feeling a little more Springlike than early February—especially compared to the rest of the country!

Breezy offshore winds linger at times, but mainly in our nearby mountains and passes. That said valley locations will notice the warmer, drier conditions as a result. A weak area of low pressure moves closer early next week, but temperatures still remain around 79-81 degrees well into next week.

High pressure rebuilds again by mid to late next week, meaning another round of warmer weather is back on deck along with another potential for some increasing Santa Ana winds in the mountains.
