Record-Breaking Heat in store for the Valley

Highs yesterday topped out at 101 at PSP, and today we'll add to that number. An Excessive Heat Warning goes into effect at 10 a.m. and lass through Friday evening.

High pressure will remain in place through Friday, and highs will be running between 105 and 110 through then, with a slight drop in highs expected for the weekend.

Today, we're expecting a high of 105.

The heat will peak on Thursday, then we'll see a small bit of relief.
