Wind Advisory issued January 6 at 11:21PM PST until January 8 at 10:00PM PST by NWS Las Vegas NV

* WHAT…Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected, especially in the morning. Winds will shift to the north
in the afternoon.

* WHERE…Cadiz Basin, Eastern Mojave Desert, Morongo Basin, and
Western Mojave Desert.

* WHEN…From 10 PM Wednesday to 10 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Very strong crosswinds may impact Highway 247
near Landers…as well as Interstates 15 and 40. Pockets of
blowing dust are likely as well.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
