Temperatures are cooler this afternoon than yesterday but still 16 degrees above normal.
An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect across the Coachella Valley through 9:00 p.m.
Temperatures remain above normal through the weekend but will continue to cool into next week bringing highs in the 90s and then 80s.
