Here comes the wind

Temperatures have cooled noticeably from yesterday and now the wind is moving in to further our cooling trend into the 80s on Tuesday.

Currently breezy winds will become gusty through the evening, primarily along I-10 and HWY 62.

A Wind Advisory has been issued for the areas highlighted in tan. The advisory goes into effect noon tomorrow for 20-30 MPH west winds and 40-50 MPH gusts.

Watch for debris that may be blown onto the road as well as reduced visibility from blowing sand and dust. Secure any lightweight items outside and close up patio umbrellas.

Temperatures will warm back into the upper 90s by the weekend.
