Wind Advisory in effect for Coachella Valley
The wind strengthened Monday evening and we're still experiencing gusts throughout this Tuesday.
Windy conditions will continue through the night with gusts over 30 MPH.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 5:00 a.m. Wednesday for all of the Coachella Valley, San Gorgonio Pass, local mountains, and High Desert.
Watch for debris that may be blown onto roadways and reduced visibility from sand and dust.
The reason behind the wind is a trough of low pressure to our northwest. It's also sending cooler air into the west coast bringing the Coachella Valley below normal high temperatures.
Plenty of sunshine expected for the next few days with not-so-scary temperatures that are appropriate for May.
