Warming Up for the Weekend

A mild and breezy start to our day as lows dropped into the lower sixties with gusty winds still blowing along the I-10 corridor early today thanks to a weak trough up to our North.

Wind speeds will diminish today, and we'll begin a warming trend that will last into the weekend. Wind gusts will range from 15-20 mph on the Valley floor to 25-30 mph north of the freeway.

Today promises slightly warmer daytime highs than yesterday, where we stayed in the eighties. Today: lower nineties.

As high pressure moves in over the weekend, our highs will flirt with triple digits, but stay just below the century mark. Next week, the eighties return!
