Triple digits are back but a cool down isn’t far away
A notable warming between yesterday and today and we can feel it! A high temperature of 107° was recorded in Palm Springs and Thermal.
The ridge of high pressure that has brought the warming trend we're experiencing will provide similar temperatures on Thursday.
On Friday, a trough of low pressure will approach the west coast and increase onshore flow. This well result in gusty winds around the desert and also initiate a quick cool down for the weekend. Saturday will be the coolest of the days ahead with highs in the upper 90s.
