Cooler temperatures mixed with wind for the weekend

Still warm but cooler than yesterday's 110°! An average high for the date is 101° and this afternoon brought us to 105°.

The trough of low pressure off of the west coast will bring further cooling into the weekend.

Gusts through the evening will range 30-40 MPH across the Coachella Valley. Keep this in mind if you're traveling out of the desert for the weekend and strong crosswinds are possible along I-10 and HWY 62.

Saturday will be the coolest day of the weekend with highs in the 90s. The cool down will be short-lived with seasonal temperatures returning on Sunday and continued warming into early next week.
