Slow drying and warming trend underway

Yesterday sporadic rainfall left some areas with significant totals:

Today, drier air is slowly filtering in behind the monsoonal moisture.

Dew points remain high this morning but are forecast to drop as the afternoon moves on.

Highs will be close to seasonal norms (105) but we'll continue to heat up into the weekend.

Expect temps close to 110 into early next week.
