Remaining soggy and mild for the rest of the week

It is a nice and mild Thursday afternoon here in the Coachella Valley! We are still feeling the effects of the tropical moisture making its way into California. This is evident by the clouds we're seeing too. Thankfully, the moisture is helping to keep out temperatures on the mild side and well below the seasonal average.

We are not quite done with all this moisture just yet. Throughout the day, we will continue to see some more moisture from the remnants of Post Tropical Cyclone Eugene be funneled our way. This is why tomorrow will also feel fairly muggy. Gradual drying should begin on Saturday.

Enjoy the mild temperatures while they last! As we start to dry out over the next few days, we will also see a gradual rise in our temperatures. We are also watching for a small spurt of monsoonal moisture on Sunday. Temperatures at the start of next week will be around average and will increase to be above average for much of the week.
