Winds calm ahead of a Thanksgiving cooling trend

Some clouds will start making their way into the Coachella Valley throughout the night. We will notice some more clouds in the sky over the next few days. This will also slowly allow our moisture levels to start recovering as our winds shift back to an onshore pattern.

The next few days will be nice and comfortable, with a fantastic Thanksgiving forecast in store! A trough of low pressure will move through much of the US later this week. The trough will likely not have many direct impacts on the Coachella Valley aside from ushering in cooler air through the weekend.

Temperatures remain slightly above average today and tomorrow, with a cooling trend starting on Thanksgiving. Daily highs will fall throughout the latter half of the week, with temperatures this weekend possibly not exceeding 70°F. We will start to warm back up slightly heading into next week.
