Warming and drying through the week

The low-pressure system that brought record rain to Southern California is moving east, and temperatures are rising in its wake. With lows in the upper 40s and highs in the low 70s, it's a very seasonable forecast for the middle of the week.

Temperatures will warm into the mid-70s this weekend as winds turn offshore, bringing drier air into the Southland. Dew point temperatures look to drop into the 30s around the Coachella Valley.
