Warming temperatures through the weekend

Now that the low-pressure system has passed, high pressure will begin to build over Southern California. This will allow our temperatures to rise into the mid to upper 70s through the weekend.

February 2024 has been quite a wet month for Southern California. Our mountains have picked up a lot of snow as a result. Over 130 inches of snow has been reported up at Snow Valley and 112 inches at both Big Beat and Snow Summit. Mammoth Mountain has seen a whopping 230 inches as well!

We can look forward to a warming trend for the Coachella Valley through the weekend. Temperatures will fall again at the start of next week as we track another system making its way toward California. Partly cloudy skies are possible through the start of next week.
