Breezy now, gustier tomorrow

Periods of gusty winds are expected each afternoon and evening through the work week due to several incoming areas of low pressure.

Winds will remain breezy for Monday, with gusts between 25-35 MPH, but stronger winds are on the way for Tuesday.

Winds will be the strongest Tuesday afternoon and evening with peak gusts near 35-40 MPH. Areas near the San Gorgonio Pass could see winds reach up to 55 MPH through Tuesday night.

Windy to occasionally gusty conditions are expected to remain for Wednesday. Santa Ana winds will return on Thursday which is when gusts are likely to reach 25-40 mph with strongest winds near the pass and I-10 corridor. At this time, there have been no watches or warnings posted due to this week's winds but stay with The First Alert Weather Team for updates.

Winds appear to weaken near the end of the work week as a warming trend begins. Temperatures are expected to rise above the seasonal average by this weekend.
