Tracking some fabulous weather for Palm Springs Pride

Good morning and happy Sunday! It's Pride weekend here in Palm Springs, one of the most anticipated weekends of the year. For the Pride parade today, the other festivities to come in the afternoon, expect temperatures in the 90s. Winds will be calm, and the air will stay dry. Expect clear skies as well.

Looking 6-10 days out in the future, we can see some light blue colors over Southern California. This means we are likely to see some slightly below-average temperatures in that time frame. This is a welcome change from the persistent highs in the 90s over the last few weeks. There are some even bigger changes coming in the following week as a large system of low pressure moves into the Golden State.

As mentioned before, there are some big changes on the way this week. Temperatures will start to cool as early as Wednesday, with the coolest day being Friday. Highs will be in the 70s for this upcoming weekend. There's even a chance for some precipitation as early as Thursday.
