Tracking another system and a cool week ahead

Good morning and happy Monday. It's a cool start to the week as temperatures are only peaking in the lower 70s. We are tracking another, separate system moving through later tonight as a low pressure system moves south down the Golden State. We are not expecting to see much accumulation, likely below a tenth of an inch in most places across the valley.

This system will have some even cooler air. This will allow the snow levels to drop even more, roughly around 5,000 feet. A few inches of snow are possible in the days ahead, particularly in the San Bernardino mountains. Here on the valley floor, we can expect high temperatures to stay in the mid to upper 60s, with an occasional day in the low 70s.

We should expect a few lingering clouds this week as moisture hangs out around the valley. Temperatures will stay well below the seasonal average. Yet another system is expected for the end of the workweek, with a chance for showers mainly on Friday.
