Happy Thanksgiving! Warm and partly cloudy today

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! We are tracking some lovely weather today here in the Coachella Valley. It's chilly this morning, but we will warm up nicely into the afternoon with high temperatures in the low 80s or even a few upper 70s. Expect partly cloudy skies throughout the day as a system in the Pacific pushes some upper-level moisture into Southern California. Winds will be calm, and the air will stay dry today.

We have gotten a decent amount of rain over the last few weeks. This had led to a massive improvement in drought conditions across the region! All of the drought in Southern California has evaporated. Many areas, including the Coachella Valley, are considered abnormally dry (this is the stage before drought conditions).

We are tracking some fantastic temperatures in the days ahead as well. Expect highs in the lower 80s today and tomorrow. Highs fall back down to the 70s this weekend and stay there into next week.
