Sunny and a touch below seasonal

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – What a contrast from this weekend: bright sunshine and warming conditions have greeted us for this first week of November!

Temperatures are vastly warmer than where we were yesterday. Most valley cities are running about 6-7° warmer.

Another fast-moving low pressure system moves into Oregon by Tuesday. This will keep our temperatures in check. We could see highs drop a degree or two compared to Monday. This low will quickly exit, so by Wednesday, we should see another subtle uptick in temperatures.

Here's what to expect tomorrow: below-normal conditions staying in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Clear skies will persist all week long. Our highs really aren't being influenced too significantly by the systems moving by to our north. We see a gradual warming trend into the weekend; Santa Ana winds could rebuild and help usher in warmer conditions by Saturday.
