Tracking mild and breezy conditions this weekend

High pressure over the Great Basin will keep us mostly sunny this weekend, with some gusty offshore winds, too.

Highs will be at or slightly above our seasonal norm of 83, so expect a warm and comfortable weekend.

Due to those offshore winds, some Fire Weather Warnings are now posted through 6 p.m. Saturday in Los Angeles county. Offshore "Santa Ana" winds typically dry the atmosphere out, and warm the surface, increasing fire danger.

Temperatures through the weekend remain in the middle 80s, with some gusty winds and partly cloudy skies rolling late Wednesday into Thursday.
