Power being restored in Cathedral City

Southern California Edison reported a power outage in Cathedral City that initially affected thousands of customers. According to the SCE’s website, the outage was first reported at 12:06 p.m. There were 6,166 customers without power around 1:30 p.m. As of 3 p.m., the company was only reporting about 600 customers without power in Cathedral City.
