A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after they got hit by a car in Indio Sunday afternoon. Indio Police temporarily closed part of Monroe Street as they investigated the crash. Officials said the crash happened just before 2 p.m. near the Hoover Avenue and Monroe Street intersection. The condition of the bicyclist is not known.
