Major injury after vehicle rolls over on I-10 at Cook St exit
A woman is in the hospital after a vehicle rolled over and caught on fire. of the I-10 near the Cook St exit in Thousand Palms.
A female driver was taken to taken to the hospital with major injuries after a cut and rescue.
The crash involved two cars and was reported at 4:42 pm.
Lanes #1 on the westbound side of the I-10 are closed in the area, for an unknown amount of time.
The California Highway Patrol closed down all westbound lanes immediately following the crash, but just after 6:15 p.m., all lanes were reopened, according to a CHP incident log.
