Second suspect in Palm Desert business burglary arrested
Authorities have arrested another suspect who was allegedly involved in a commercial burglary in Palm Desert.
On Wednesday at around 5:30 p.m., members of the Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit conducted a follow investigation into the burglary that occurred on Sunday at a business in the 34000 block of Monterey Ave.
39-year-old Jeremy Ketchem was found in Bermuda Dunes at the corner of Washington Street and Avenue 42.
BSU members conducted a parole search at Ketchem’s home and found additional items from the burglary.

Ketchem was arrested and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning for burglary and other related charges.
He is being held without bail, is expected to make his initial court appearance on Friday.
On Sunday, Palm Desert Police officers arrested Mark McGowan, 47, for his role in the same burglary.
Investigators determined he had gained access to the business by cutting a hole through the wall of a neighboring business.

McGowan was identified as a suspect and located at a Palm Desert home on the 42700 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
McGowan was released Sunday on $10,000 bail, according to county jail records.
