Rancho Las Palmas masseur arrested for inappropriately touching client
A masseur at a Rancho Mirage resort is accused of sexual misconduct on a client during a treatment.
23-year-old Pedro Briceno Leija Jr. of Desert Hot Springs allegedly touched a client inappropriately at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa on August 29.
An investigation eventually led police to locate the victim. On Wednesday, investigators arrested Leija and booked him into the Indio jail for two counts of sexual battery.
He was released on $50,000 bail Thursday, jail records show.
