The passenger of the vehicle, identified as Mark Jewett, had two active warrants for his arrest. A record’s check of the trailer was conducted that revealed the trailer was stolen out of Yucca Valley over two years ago.
Deputies discovered that Jewett was in possession of the trailer for over a year.
The legal owner of the trailer does not know Jewett and did not give him permission to have or take it.
