Motorcycle, car crash in Coachella leaves two people injured

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies say a crash involving a motorcycle and car happened at 7:33 p.m. in Coachella on 51st Avenue and Mecca Street.

The driver of the car remained on scene, while both riders of the motorcycle were transported to a local hospital with significant injuries.

Sheriff's deputies say the investigation is ongoing.
