A bus is evacuated after a firearm is found
A bus was evacuated this afternoon after reports of an armed person on that bus.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the area of Harris Lane and Washington Street in Palm Desert.
Deputies reportedly evacuated the bus safely. During a search a firearm was found. Two adult males were taken into custody for possession of a firearm.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available at this time.
