A more seasonable week compared to last

It is considerably more seasonable this week! Although the initial trough has begun moving off to the east, the slightly warmer temperatures won't last long. Breezy conditions will return to the desert Wednesday, lowering our daily high by a few degrees.

It will continue to be very mild this week with daily highs remaining in the 80s. Overnight lows will continue to fall throughout the week as well. A cooling trend will begin this weekend, ushering in high temperatures in the 70s for Sunday and Monday. Windy conditions are expected for this weekend, especially on Sunday.

When looking at the 8-14 day temperature outlook, the west coast can look forward to some above-average temperatures. This doesn't necessarily mean temperatures will be hot, but just above average. The average daily high for Palm Springs on Nov. 1 is 85°F.
