A frightfully comfortable Halloween

We are in for quite a treat tonight! Temperatures will be very comfortable for anyone who will be out trick or treating or going to a Halloween party. Temperatures will fall into the 60s around 9 PM before slipping into the 50s around 1 AM.

A broad area of high pressure is anchoring over the desert Southwest. This system will likely move around but not move away, so we can look forward to a gradual warming trend through the rest of the workweek. Temperatures will be around 90°F heading into the weekend.

Temperatures will continue to gradually warm throughout the week. By this weekend, we could once again see temperatures near 90° with little relief until the middle of next week. On the bright side, our overnight lows will stay nice and cool for a warm, but comfortable, start to November.
