Returning to normal temperatures

A ridge of high pressure building over California has brought warmer temperatures for the second day in a row. Palm Springs recorded a high temperature of 70° this afternoon, just one degree below normal.

Temperatures will warm into the upper 70s for the end of the week. The next cool down begins Sunday as a trough of low pressure moves into the west coast bringing the chance for showers beginning late Sunday night.
