Flooding on Harry Oliver Trail in Thousand Palms near Sunline headquarters

California Highway Patrol (CHP) has confirmed a flooded street on Harry Oliver Trail, off Varner Road, in Thousand Palms. The location is next to Sunline headquarters.

According to CHP reports, a U-Haul truck crashed into a fire hydrant that exploded. Both lanes were temporarily closed due to the flooding around 9 a.m.
