Two people injured, dog dead after head-on crash in Thousand Palms
Two people were injured and a dog died after a head-on crash Tuesday evening in Palm Desert.
The crash was reported at around 5:30 p.m. near Washington Street and Del Web Boulevard.
California Highway Patrol Officer David Torres confirmed both patients were "elderly" women. Both were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Torres said a dog was killed in the crash.
