Alaska Airlines grounds flights nationwide due to IT outage

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) - Alaska Airlines has grounded its flights nationwide due to an "IT outage affecting operations."

There is no word on when the temporary ground stop will be lifted.

Officials advise that if you're scheduled to fly tonight, check your flight status before heading to the airport.

It appears as though one arriving flight into Palm Springs International Airport from Seattle-Tacoma is impacted. Other arriving and departing at PSP appear to still be on time, but check the flight status page for updates.
